THIS IS THE PROCESS FOR SELECTION, TRIALS & GENERAL INFO
The School Sport Australia Interstate 15s Volleyball Championships are open to both boys and girls gender specific teams.
The SSWA final selected team will consist of a balanced team of 10 players in the girls team and 10 players in the boys team.
Two (2) or three (3) trials will be held for both teams (if necessary). Players must attend all trials unless otherwise organised.
Each trial shall incorporate skill drills and will also consist of match play.
REFEREES
Student referees are welcomed to attend trials and be selected to travel with the team in that capacity.

2026 TRIALS
TRIAL #1:
Date – Saturday 21st Feb
Venue – Rossmoyne SHS
Time – Girls: 8:00am – 9:30am / Boys: 9:30am – 11:00am
TRIAL #2:
Date – Saturday 28th Feb
Venue – Rossmoyne SHS
Time – Boys: 8:00am – 9:30am / Girls: 9:30am – 11:00am
TRIAL #3 (selected athletes only):
Date – Saturday 7th March
Venue – Kelmscott SHS
Time – Girls: 8:00am – 9:30am / Boys: 9:30am – 11:00am
Squad Selections

PLEASE NOTE: At the end of Trial #1 and Trial #2 a reduced squad will be selected to move through to the next trial.

TRIAL COST
$35.00
Please be advised that if selected:
The total cost of the Championship is estimated at $2500, less fund raising.
Travel Model
The Volleyball staff of School Sport WA prefer students to travel and accommodate with the staff. Flights and accommodation will be booked for the team officials and student players and referee/s and will be provided at the parent information meeting.
Any variation to this model will be communicated at the initial trial
PARENT INFORMATION / UNIFORMING:
The Parent Information and Uniforming session will take place on Tuesday 1 April, 5:30pm, Tuart College.
It is an expectation that all selected students and train ons must attend this evening.

ELIGIBILITY
The Championships are open to all West Australian students whether or not they are members of an affiliated club. To be eligible for selection students must:
Be a full time student at a secondary school
Be 15 years and under as at 31 December
NOMINATE
Nominations open late January in the year of the competition.
