Since its establishment in 1981, School Sport Australia has been responsible for the development and promotion of school sport in Australia. The focal point of School Sport Australia activities has been the interstate competitions offered at both primary and secondary levels. These are the culmination of state based programs and offer the gifted and talented students the opportunity to participate in higher levels of sporting competition. These events are an integral part of the School Sport Australia program, not only for their sporting benefits, but also for the immense educational, cultural and social benefits they provide for the participants. The SSWA Interstate Golf 18’s team will consist of 6 males and 6 females as per SSA Sport Participation Policy. |

Please be advised that if selected:
The total cost of the Championship is estimated at $1000 (this does not include any flights or accommodation), less fund raising.
Travel Model
The School Sport WA preferred travel model is for students to travel and accommodate with their parent/guardian. Flights have been booked for team officials and their flight information will be provided at the parent information meeting.
Any variation to this model will be communicated at the initial trial

Pacific Harbour Golf Course
Bribie Island Golf Club
Wantima Country Club
TBC by Team Managers
Interstate representatives must:
Be a full time student at a recognised DoE educational institution.
Be 18 years of age or under as at 31 December in the year of competition.
Must have a recognised Golf Handicap and play regularly in recognised competitions.
Nominations open late January in the year of the competition.
