PIZZEY CUP TENNIS

The SSWA Pizzey Cup team will be made up of eight girls and eight boys.

Selection to the Pizzey Cup  designated trial date is by invitation only.

Players with outstanding results as deemed by the selection committee may be granted automatic inclusion*

The total cost of the Championship is estimated at $1000 (this does not include any flights or accommodation), less fund raising.

Travel Model
The School Sport WA preferred travel model is for students to travel and accommodate with their parent/guardian.  Flights have been booked for team officials and their flight information will be provided at the parent information meeting.

Any variation to this model will be communicated at the initial trial

TRIAL DETAILS

Trial day will be invitation only, based on criteria as stated in the selection criteria.
All players will be informed of their inclusion / exclusion up to one week prior to the trial day.
Trial times and details will also be sent to successful nominees.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for selection students must:

• Be a full time student at a recognised educational institution
• Be Under 19 at the end of the month in which the event is held
• Students who are selected to play in the Pizzey Cup will not be allowed to compete in any tournament played at the same time as the Championships.

All SSWA teams are selected on merit according to the published selection process for that team or sport.
